Millennium Milepost Camber Road This milepost is a Mills type and has a T5/8 disk. The mileages on this milepost are: 1) Camber 2, Lydd 7.5 2) Rye 1, Winchelsea 4.5
The junction has been filled in for safety, but there really should have been a cycle bypass for NCN route 2
The only cycle parking at the De La Warr Pavilion is with these PlantLocks, which are too close to each other.

NCN route 2 towards Rye turns left onto the A259 - turn left in 200m to go via the village of Winchelsea.
NCN route 2 is briefly on the A259 to bypass Winchelsea (why?), but this sign does of course make drivers much more careful.
NCN route 2 turns left onto the A259, avoiding Winchelsea - but if you want to see the village you should go straight on (ie turn right) and then left.
NCN route 2 (from Winchelsea to Rye) turns left into the car park. The route ahead turns into a footpath but oddly there seems to be a Sustrans 'milepost' there.
